BBC Launches New Website as Restoration Continues

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Bluewater Bible College & Institute website as part of our ongoing restoration effort.

After more than 55 years of training faithful pastors and church leaders across the Caribbean, Bluewater Bible College was forced to suspend operations in 2017 when Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the U.S. Virgin Islands. But God’s work does not end with a storm.

Today, with the support of the Florida Baptist Convention and the Lake County Baptist Association, BBC is being rebuilt — not just the physical campus at Estate Contant in St. Thomas, but the entire institutional infrastructure needed to serve a new generation of Caribbean ministry leaders.

What’s New

This new website is part of a comprehensive digital infrastructure that includes:

How You Can Help

The restoration of BBC is a community effort, and there are several ways you can be part of it:

  • Pray for the leadership, students, and Caribbean churches that BBC will serve
  • Give a tax-deductible donation to support campus restoration, scholarships, and operations
  • Spread the word to churches, pastors, and potential students in the Caribbean
  • Connect — if you are a BBC alumnus or former student, we want to hear from you
  • Volunteer your time and skills — contact us at info@bluewaterbible.org

Looking Forward

BBC is preparing to welcome students as programs are developed and regulatory approvals are secured. We are building a curriculum that addresses the unique needs of Caribbean ministry, with both on-campus and distance learning options.
