Programs of Study
BBC&I offers programs designed to equip students for various ministry roles. Our curriculum covers three main areas of study.
Bible & Theology
Core biblical and theological studies form the foundation of all BBC programs:
- Old Testament Studies — Survey, exegesis, and theology of the Hebrew Bible
- New Testament Studies — Survey, exegesis, and theology of the Greek New Testament
- Systematic Theology — Comprehensive study of Christian doctrine
- Church History — The development of Christianity from the early church to the present
- Hermeneutics — Principles and methods of biblical interpretation
Ministry & Practical Theology
Applied courses prepare students for hands-on ministry:
- Pastoral Ministry — Church leadership, counseling, and administration
- Homiletics — The art and practice of preaching
- Christian Education — Teaching ministry in the local church
- Missions & Evangelism — Cross-cultural ministry and gospel outreach
- Christian Ethics — Applying biblical principles to contemporary issues
General Education
Supporting courses that develop well-rounded ministry leaders:
- English Composition — Writing skills for academic and ministry contexts
- Communication — Public speaking and interpersonal communication
- Research Methods — Academic research and writing skills
- Psychology — Understanding human behavior for counseling ministry
- Music — Church music and worship leadership
- Computer Studies — Technology skills for modern ministry
Historical Degree Programs
BBC has historically offered the following degree and certificate programs:

| B.R.E. (Elementary Education Major / Bible Minor) | 4 years | 132 | For students desiring to teach in a Christian elementary school setting |
| Graduate of Theology (Th.G.) | 3 years | 102 | Bible major; no set educational prerequisites (high school recommended) |
| Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Bible | 2 years | 68 | Designed for members of affiliated churches; open to all qualifying applicants |
| Bible Certificate | 1 year | — | Through the Institute department; no educational prerequisites required |
