Bluewater Bible College & Institute (BBC&I) has served the Caribbean Baptist community since 1962, training pastors and church leaders who have strengthened congregations across the islands for over five decades.

BBC&I is a Caribbean theological institution located in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. We exist to provide quality, affordable theological education rooted in Baptist distinctives and committed to biblical authority. Our graduates serve as pastors, missionaries, educators, and church leaders throughout the Caribbean region.
Our Identity
We are a ministry-focused institution that combines rigorous academic study with practical ministry preparation. Our faculty bring both scholarly credentials and real-world pastoral experience. Our curriculum is designed specifically for the Caribbean context, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities of island ministry.
Restoration
After Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2017, BBC suspended operations. Now, with the support of the Florida Baptist Convention and the Lake County Baptist Association, the college is being restored. Our campus, programs, and digital infrastructure are being rebuilt to serve a new generation of Caribbean ministry leaders.
