Accreditation

Accreditation Status

Bluewater Bible College & Institute is currently seeking accreditation through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).

About TRACS

TRACS is a nationally recognized accrediting agency for Christian postsecondary institutions. TRACS accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Achieving TRACS accreditation demonstrates that an institution meets rigorous standards of academic quality, institutional integrity, and educational effectiveness.

Our Accreditation Path

BBC is building the institutional systems, academic programs, and administrative infrastructure required for TRACS accreditation. This includes:

  • Comprehensive academic catalog and curriculum documentation
  • Student information and records management systems
  • Learning management system for course delivery
  • Library and research resources
  • Institutional governance and financial accountability
  • Assessment and institutional effectiveness measures

Regulatory Compliance

In addition to voluntary accreditation, BBC is pursuing all required regulatory approvals for operating as a postsecondary institution in the U.S. Virgin Islands, including licensure through the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) and the Virgin Islands Department of Education (VIDE).
