Bluewater Bible College & Institute is led by experienced Christian leaders who are committed to the college’s mission of training Caribbean ministry leaders.
Pastor Andrew George — President
Pastor Andrew George serves as President of Bluewater Bible College & Institute. Based in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pastor George provides executive leadership for the college’s restoration and ongoing operations. He brings pastoral experience and a deep understanding of the Caribbean Baptist community to the role.

Dr. Felix Durand, Ed.D. — Provost
Dr. Felix Durand serves as Provost, overseeing all academic programs, faculty development, and curriculum planning. Dr. Durand’s connection to BBC runs deep: he is a graduate of Bluewater Bible College (Th.G.), served as adjunct faculty teaching Education courses, and was Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He went on to earn a B.S. from Liberty University, an M.Ed. from the University of the Virgin Islands, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree. His journey from BBC student to faculty member to Board Chairman to Provost embodies the institution’s mission of raising up Caribbean leaders.

Board of Directors
BBC is governed by a Board of Directors that provides oversight, strategic direction, and accountability. The board includes representatives from the Caribbean Baptist community and supporting organizations. BBC’s board has historically drawn members from across the Caribbean and U.S. mainland, including St. Thomas, St. Croix, Anguilla, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, Maryland, and Tennessee — reflecting the school’s regional West Indian mission.

Historical Leadership
BBC has been led by four presidents across its 55-year history, each contributing to the institution’s growth and mission:

Thompson Hall is named for the second president, and Bellew Hall for the third, honoring their lasting contributions to the institution.
