Academic Leadership
Dr. Felix Durand, Ed.D. — Provost
Dr. Durand oversees all academic programs, curriculum development, and faculty recruitment. A BBC graduate (Th.G.) who served as adjunct faculty and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Durand holds degrees from BBC, Liberty University (B.S.), the University of the Virgin Islands (M.Ed.), and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.). Faculty Opportunities
BBC is currently recruiting qualified faculty members for both full-time and adjunct positions. We seek instructors with:
- An earned graduate degree in their field of instruction (Master’s minimum, Doctorate preferred)
- Active membership in a Baptist church
- Ministry experience relevant to their teaching area
- A commitment to BBC’s statement of faith and mission

Faculty Legacy
BBC’s faculty has historically included scholars trained at institutions across the Baptist world. Several faculty members were themselves BBC graduates, creating a self-sustaining educational pipeline that demonstrated the institution’s effectiveness in producing capable ministry leaders.
